Vivian is half sibling to Edith thru their sire: *B Moore's Meadow Mac Knight
Vivian is a nice uphill doe with nice large bone, good feet and is correct in her angulation thru out. She is an amazing milker and as a 3rd Fresher, she
averaged 4 - 5 lbs per milking (8 - 10 lbs per day), with an excellent butter fat content. She is one who will easily milk through but once she is bred, she
dries up almost instantly! She has a wonderful and loving personality and is a joy to own.
Her high quality milk is perfect for cheese and soap making, Vivian will be going to live in a wonderful new home in Northern Ohio after freshening. We
will be keeping all 2011 doe kids out of Vivian, including her 2010 doe, Greta.
Viv is bred to our Nubian herdsire *B Hoanbu ATL Summer Everlasting, freshened with 3 buck kids on Jan 18, 2011.
I am a bit depressed that we did not get a doe kid to retain from this breeding, but it was not meant to be.
Vivian will be heading to a new home along with her half sister, Edith. They will always hold a special place
in our hearts, since they are the 2 that got us hooked on dairy goats.
